Mobile, AL Show Review! + 2 videos Posted on 3/17/2010

Wow, last night was amazing! I've been waiting to see TRS live for like 4 years. Something always was getting in the way whether it was no dates in my area or having no transportation, but I got to go last night and it was awesome!



It was a show with One Republic. Like I said in my other blog, I went by myself, but I made friends with 2 girls when I got there. They asked me if none of my friends wanted to come with me and I told them no, but I had to come anyways because The Rocket Summer is my favorite band. And one said "Oh, really? I've never heard of them" Haha. It made me kinda sad that there are lost souls out there who have never heard of TRS, but that's why doing supporting shows are so cool because other kids get to experience TRS that prob wouldn't otherwise!

Halfway through one of the girls turned me and said "They're not bad!" lmao. He played (prob not the right order):

He also went into the middle of the crowd and played his cover of Maps. I was barricade far left. SO far left that when he went into the middle of the crowd, I couldn't see him at all :( After Maps, he had the crowd crowdsurf him back onto the stage. Some people in the crowd were like :O Haha. I don't think there were expecting crowdsurfing at this show, especially from the band. He also took a photo of us and said for us to tag ourselves in it on facebook. I really think Bryce won a lot of people over at the show, which is great! It was really fun. Bryce said he'd like to come back, and I hope he does. I'd be there front row AGAIN!

There was this box thing on the other side of the stage that Bryce kept standing on. Made me kinda wish I went over to that side, but at one point he came all the way over to my side, directly in front of me and played a guitar solo. Omg. I was like Lady Gaga at that point. SO HAPPY I COULD DIE! HAHA!

Bryce moves too much for me to get any good pictures, but I got some good video of "Save" and "Walls". I didn't want to film too much because i just wanted to have fun and experience it without all that, but I got those two!

All in all, A+ night, would do it all over again.
